El Space Apps Costa Rica permite unir el desarrollo de software con el desafío de lograr una aplicación en 30 horas continuas. Esta actividad será realizada en paralelo en 50 ciudades alrededor del mundo, además de la International Space Station y la Antártica.
Tecnológico de Costa Rica
NASA ha elegido al Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica para su organización debido a su afinidad con las temáticas y sus capacidades docentes y estudiantiles, además del espacio físico con el cual cuenta en sus diferentes campus.
Jueces
Equipo técnico propuesto por el TEC y otros especialistas afines con la temática, actualmente se encuentra abierto para ser definido.
Participantes
La participación es abierta, deben ser personas mayores de edad o menores con autorización de sus padres, se conforman equipos de desarrollo que no necesariamente deben ser programadores o desarrolladores, se recomiendan equipos multidisciplinarios.
