We are so excited to be hosting the Cleveland site of the Space Apps Challenge at NASA Glenn!
This hackathon brings together teams of developers to work on projects over the course of the weekend. Teams work together on-site and can also collaborate with other participants from around the world. We’ll also have local awards/prizes for teams and at least two local teams will be nominated for NASA regional and national awards.
New, cool elements this year:
- * The hackathon is hosted at NASA Glenn in their state-of-the-art Mission Integration Center
- * Guest speakers from NASA Glenn on Friday and Saturday
- * At least one unique tour of part of NASA Glenn
- * There will be a variety of displays including examples of prototype planetary rover tires and ion engines
- * We’re partnering with the Great Lakes Science Center and Yuri’s Night, a global party on Saturday, April 11 to celebrate space flight. We’re finalizing details, but we’re working on getting discounted admission for Space Apps Challenge participants
Because we're hosting the 2015 Challenge at NASA Glenn Research Center, our site is open to United States Citizens ONLY.
