We're planning on building a wearable level detector. It can be used like a fancy carpenter's level to determine when you or something you are building are standing upright verses leaned over. It will have additional features that allow it to operate both in environments with earth's gravity and in low gravity environments. We're planning on taking two approaches: hardware and software. The hardware based approach will use an accelerometer and a separate display and be wearable. The software based approach will use the accelerometer and display of a cellphone or tablet.
