Description
SpacePuppy
SpacePuppy is a friendly, autonomous, zero-gee, flight retrieval vehicle (FRV) that delivers objects to astronauts onboard space stations and space transportation vehicles. It is like having a flying robotic St. Bernard onboard your mission to space.
The focus of this project was to develop an R-language based ShinyApps web application to simulate an autonomous, zero-gee Flight Retrieval Vehicle (FRV). This was with the objective to define the controls and system sizing beyond the conceptual stage.
Deliverables:
The end products for the 2015 NASA International SpaceApps Challenge will consist of:
1) An R-language ShinyApps web application that simulates the dynamics and control of a Flight Retrieval Vehicle (FRV).
2) An Apple Keynote presentation describing the SpacePuppy Concept.
