A glove with sensors is used to detect hand motion and convert that into directions for a bot. The bot is then guided and has a camera attached. It streams video back into the wearable glove.

This project is solving the Space Wearables: Designing for Today’s Launch & Research Stars challenge.


The project aims to achieve automation for navigating areas of ISS and inspecting it for damage or even perform repairs with addons such as a robotic arm. This helps the astronauts not endanger themselves by trying to go to hard-to-access places. If the wearable glove is used to control a drone, it can also be sent outside the ISS to check for external damage.
