This project addresses the air-traffic control challenge. Track me offers a robust solution that allows its users to track flights in real time, receive SMS notifications when a certain flight arrives, and even see 3D snapshots of what actual people on the flight are seeing and all that in real time ! Our project uses ADS-B radars to monitor air traffic in real time, we also use xplane with xplane connect along with the real time data we gather to be able to provide for the 3D snapshots of the current flight. Our project lets any user search either by flight number or by origin / destination airports for the flights (s)he is interested in. Once the user got that, he can see in real time the location, altitude, distance remaining for the flight and the flight route. He can then signup to receive an SMS when that certain flight arrives its destination, or can chose to see the flight in 3D. That option will prompt a text file download. That text file is automatically generated with real data. All the user has to do is fire xplane, open the Java xplane connect project, paste the downloaded text (the downloaded text is a code source that tells xplane what to do, plane location, altitude, speed, and using real weather condition). Finally just run the xplane connect java project, and the xplane simulator will show instantly the current view of what people inside that plane can see right now !
