The idea is to create the Innovative First Aid Kit which will be printed with 3D printer. It will include all the necessary medicines for emergency situations. The main difference from the current First Aid set is the efficiency, ease of use and well-organized structure.

This project is solving the 3D AstroMed Devices challenge.


First Aid Kits are very complicated and badly organized even to the most trained professionals. This causes a lot of problems as the main thing in extreme situations is to be fast and efficient and to avoid mistakes.

Everything about the Kit is printed with 3D printer at the ISS. The Kit itself is made out of florescent material. The Kit will open/close with the help of magnets. The Kit contains small, see-through containers that each has the specific items needed for a specific issue. Containers are also attached to the main Kit by puzzle magnets. One container has items for bleeding, one has for burns etc. Combining these two has all the items needed for treatment after an explosion.

The packages are transparent and there will be pictures on the lids instead of words, which makes it usable for people who don't use English as their first language.
