zforce

We made this drone using Autodesk Inventor Proffesional 2015. It contains 2 rotors which are used to provide it the thrust and torque to to fly, go backward and forward, roll or yaw. It contains the command centre that contains all the electronics, battery and wireless controllers; which are directly connected to the wireless remote control. It is a four motor system which can be used to get flexibility and accuracy for driving the drone.

This project is solving the ZERO GEE Bee – Your Friendly Neighborhood Drone challenge.

Description

There are four Faulhaber 0620-B 12V motors installed in the drone. They have a diameter of 6 mm and length of 20 mm. They weigh .005 pounds. The motors are controlled from the wireless remote which is connected to the command centre. The speed of the motors can be increased or decreased to increase or decrease height respectively. Similarly the drone can be rotated horizontally by increasing or decreasing the speed of the one motor and vertically by two other motors. The drones can be placed on the top, bottom, sides of the cargo and it will direct the cargo in the space.
