planetarium

This project is solving the Can You Hear Me Now? Space-y Sounds challenge.

Planetarium is a visualisation of the planetary bodies in our solar system. Players discover planets by hunting down their electromagnetic and other radio emissions, listening and honing in on them by their sounds alone. It uses various actual transcoded sound files, converted from data gathered by the Voyager and Cassini probes, as well as radio transmissions and artificially generated sounds to represent the planets. The game is a simple analogy for the challenges involved in the discovery of orbital bodies, both in our solar system and beyond. It is built using Unreal Engine 4, whose source can be downloaded from GitHub.
