Our project aims to moves a specific payload (2kg) inside a human inhabited space craft in zero gravity. it is powered by propellers which is the main source of movement and stability in the drone. we used the propellers because they are not considered a hazard on astronauts health, Cheaper and effective. will help the astronauts Take their minds off simple operations like organizing or carrying any payload around and focus on more pressing matters.

This project is solving the ZERO GEE Bee – Your Friendly Neighborhood Drone challenge.

Description

Shortly, Our drone will help the astronauts take their minds off simple operations like organizing or carrying any payload around and focus on more pressing matters, making their missions easier. Our solution is quadcopter with a carbon fiber body , which has 4 propellers that uses the slightest power for ascending and calibration using PID (proportional-intergral-derivative) stability algorithm . These 4 propellers take it's power from 4 motors distributed along side the drone body, each of them has 1200KV power. it utilizes a retractable hand which grab hold any payload and a sensor for surface detection and maneuverability around walls. our solution is considered easy yet effective.
