A Geo-Stationary 3D Printer with ability to print modular materials, manufacture ships, structures, satellites, and NASA's SPHERE(s), maintain and repair components; focus on expanded applications in Energy (Solar, Fusion), Science, and Global Defense.Description
Applications:
ENERGY:
Solar
Fusion
SCIENCE:
World's Largest Lens (Remote Laser Sintering = build remote rapid colonies; or Large Telescope)
Ozone Generator (Rehabilitate Earth's Ozone Layer/ Increase Compatibility for goldilocks planets)
Teraformer (Maintain, Adjust Global Climate, Atmosphere)
Weather Manipulation (Storm Management)
Artificial Evolution Lab
Biological/Chemical Plant/Processing/Research
Agricultural
GHC (Global Hadron Collider; Ring-World/Transpolar Applications);
Data Centre (Scalable)
DEFENSE:
Ring-World
Global Response
Disaster Mitigation
Logistics
Perpetual printing: "Printer Manifolds/Truss (a method to parametrically extend, augment perimeters to achieve more flexible construction volume to take precedence in construction); stretches the construction area for specialized dimensions for either particular compounded complex parts or achieve appropriate rate of printing (for cases where time sensitive element is the issue).
Oskar is seeking aero-space engineers, scientists (Artificial Evolution Research, Civil, Environmental, Energy), entrepreneurs, that is looking for further applications that can be used to print/manufacture constructs or apply applications inside an expanding geostationary 3D print station.
This Challenge also acknowledges an umbrella of this year listed challenges:
Robots Robots Robots: the importance of Robotics (e.g - NASA's (SPHERES) Synchronized Position Hold, Engage, Reorient, Experimental Satellites) SPHERES ; appropriate cluster of drones as remote collaborative printers.
Spacecraft Thermal Power Consumption Challenge: Alternative Solution by remote reconfiguration of the craft (remote print extra solar sails, partition payloads, re-appropriate logistics parameters in modular build; dependency mitigation.)
Create your Own Asteroid Mission: remote mine, process, or convert asteroid into large-scale farmed resource or rugged spacecraft/colony node ("smart rock").
Survivor: Mars Lava Tube: appropriate remote unmanned drone missions (remote print drones) in navigate/traverse inside lava tubes.
Geo-stationary printer presents ability to print, manufacturer, farm, maintain and repair constructs of variable measure: vehicles, space components (internal), containments and materials, biological, chemical, compound.
