This project is solving the ZERO GEE Bee – Your Friendly Neighborhood Drone challenge.

Description

How can you move supplies using a Zero GeeBee drone within a spacecraft? Our reply to that question is the HoverDrone! Twelve participants contributed to creating this incredibly autonomous floating handy-bot here in Sherbrooke, Quebec.

We determined that the optimal shape for the HoverDrone is a rhombicuboctahedron as it facilitates propelling airflow.

The HoverDrone is auto-calibrated and composed of two robust floating devices, with a total of twelve ultra powerful fans capable of carrying a 2kg load. Users can program the drone from a distance within a real-time dashboard.

The HoverDrone is autonomous and is equipped with a long lasting battery pack. It is also super easy to maintain.

Great Scott, the HoverDrone is back from the Future!
