Flexible Thermal Power Systems is an advanced version of current practical space power systems. The project aims at conserving power thereby utilizing maximum power for R&D in space and also for return journey. In addition to the thermal power systems several solutions are provided for maximum utilization of optimum resources available .

This project is solving the Spacecraft Thermal Power Consumption challenge.


The project aims at conservation & generation power thereby utilizing maximum power for R&D in space and also for return journey.

  1. Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator (Thorium as a fuel).

  2. MEMS based Solar Panels.

  3. Small Greenhouse for conversion of exhaled CO2 into O2.

  4. Smart Grid based control system for Power Management.

  5. Bicycles and Manual Trademill based generators.

  6. Thermocouples for Power Generation.

  7. Special designed PV Panels for Spacecraft.

By above methods we will be able to shrink the size of size of the spacecraft upto 30% also we can reduce the mass of the payload by 40% without compromising stability and Operation Time.
