With a combination of coding and engineering, we will create a plan to prospect and mine asteroids for useful ore.This project is solving the Create Your Own Asteroid Mission challenge. Description
This project incorporates both engineers and coders to create a viable solution for colonizing near-Earth asteroids and eventually the Asteroid Belt to be mined for resources, such as metals ranging from the standard iron and nickel, to precious metals like platinum. The asteroid ore will either be refined on a extraterrestrial base, or be sent back directly home for refining on Earth. Engineers are invited to come help design the buildings that will support our system, while coders are invited to help make a system to automate such a colony, and possibly create a simulation.
