In our project, we tried to introduce to the user the meaning of near earth asteroids, the origin of asteroids, danger level and likelihood of collisions through figures and graphs. We also introduced 7 ways to save earth from the destructive effect of asteroid collision with it. We created a website introducing and explaining these concepts to the user that may not have any knowledge level and still be able to understand orbits of asteroids and be aware of the danger it can represent.This project is solving the Visualize the Asteroid Skies challenge. Asteroids are a blessing and a curse. A bless in terms of which planets and space are being discovered and precious information revealed to our human kind. Humans are in need of predicting the danger that threatens their existence. The project aims at educating the public about the need to explore asteroids and protect earth from it. We extracted date from sources and databases that enlighten the power of asteroid explorations. To make the data more evident to the users, we retrieved asteroid data into meaningful plots and presentations. We believe our team has a lot of potential and is ambitious to use more high technology instruments as our engineering skills develop. As an example, we may use 3-D visualizations and more sophisticated fetching algorithms to get meaningful data and interpret it.
