District Skardu is located in most northern part of Pakistan in Gilgit-Baltistan Pakistan. Three famous mountain ranges(Karakourm , Himalaya and Hindukush) is located here. K2 is 2nd Highest mountain in the world. Karakorum International University, Skardu Campus is main Higher Educational Institution in Skardu. All departments providing quality education specially computer Sci department, Comsats University, Virtual Campus and Virtual University of Pakistan is also providing quality education in the Skardu. Skardu is at an altitude of nearly 2,500 metres (8,202 feet). Skardu Latitude & Longitude is 35.3000° N,75.6167° E.
