Infocrop is an android based application targeted for Global challenge under the category Earth. This app helps to reach every corners of the world and plans to take sincere data from the farmers themselves. The main intention of this app is to store information about the probable pests/disease so that the future researchers and scientists can use for further reference.This project is solving the Crop Alert – Learning From the Growers challenge. Our project helps to reduce the tiring effort of research over a large period of time and is aimed to collect more valid data since the direct personnel so called farmers are involved. This app is designed with a motive to prevent the possible occurrence of epidemic through out the world, since the researches can identify if similar problems have been seen worldwide. The graphical representation of data helps farmers know their rate of production each year and how much the pests wasted. Also further the forum section can provide real time information about the pests and the methods to control which is helpful for the farmers. We plan to extend our app's limitation by helping farmers know which part of land is fertile for cultivation. In addition to that recent info's and updates from different websites and government might prove to be very beneficial for the app users.
