Crop alert is a web application that allows early detection of diseases and pests, as well as a means of community information between farmers, it can get details of the pest and its treatment through a common space to organize such information .This project is solving the Crop Alert – Learning From the Growers challenge. Description
The project seeks to collect any information about planting and farmers, making the necessary use of a data base, showing a farmers profile information as well as details of the crops that performs during the season and weather facts.
Moreover the data collected can be viewed by other farmers, can early detect pests and how they might present in their communities, as well as if the weather of the region has a spreading factor in the pest. The application will also include details about the plants and about the application of pesticides and comments on how to avoid problems during the application of the same.
