  • Bienvenidos al Space Apps Challenge Panamá 2015. Por tercer año consecutivo nos reuniremos en Ciudad de Panamá para desarrollar soluciones creativas a los retos que proponen nuestros amigos de la Agencia Nacional Aeroespacial (NASA). La Universidad de Panamá  en conjunto con sus patrocinadores unen esfuerzos para organizar esta hackathon en nuestra ciudad. 

    Invitamos a que participen todos los profesionales, científicos, diseñadores, emprendedores y estudiantes de todas las áreas, que estén interesados en el desarrollo de soluciones creativas a problemas relacionados con el espacio, la robótica y el monitoreo terrestre.

    Este es un evento abierto a todos los interesados mayores de 15 años. La hackathon se desarrollará los días 10 al 12 de abril. Locación será anunciada pronto.

    La participación puede ser individual o en equipos (preferiblemente hasta 5 miembros) con el propósito de crear sinergia, definir propuestas innovadoras de interés para la sociedad y el desarrollo científico, captar el interés de las empresas orientadas a la tecnología en las soluciones propuestas y sus creadores. Los mejores proyectos serán presentados a la NASA para su evaluación y promoción. A nivel local, se le dará seguimiento a los mejores proyectos  para asistirles en la realización de sus propuestas. 

    Welcome to the International Space Apps Challenge Panama 2014. For a third time we'll get together in Panama City, Panama to develop creative solutions to NASA's challenges. This year the University of Panama and it's sponsors has joined efforts to organize this hackathon in our city. 

    We invite every professional, scientist, designer, entrepeneur and student in all areas to participate. If you have interest in creative solutions development in topics related to space, robotics, and Earth watch this is the event for you. 

    This is an open event for any person of age 18+. We'll hold the event from April 12th and 13th at the Informatics, Electronics and Communication Faculty, University of Panama, Octavio Mendez Pereira campus.

    Participation can be individual or in teams (preferably) in order to create synergy, identifying innovative proposals relevant to the society and scientific development, to capture the interest of technology-oriented companies in the proposed solutions and their creators. The best projects will be presented to NASA for evaluation and promotion. Locally, we will track the best projects to assist in carrying out their proposals.
