The international NASA Space Apps Challenge has become the biggest global hackathon, engaging thousands of citizens across the globe in working to design innovative solutions to global challenges in 48-hours.
Space Apps 2014 gathered over 8,000 global citizens in 46 countries and 95 cities participated. The aim is to solve, design and engage with fellow enthusiasts and present their challenges globally. Space Apps brings together technologists, scientists, designers, artists, educators, entrepreneurs, developers and students with publicly available data.
For the first time The 2015 Space Apps Challenge will be hosted in Helsinki by Idean & Aaltoes at Startup Sauna. Our initiative is to bring all you bright minded hackers together. This year’s themes are Outer Space, Earth, Humans and Robotics.
Startup Sauna in Otaniemi is part of the Aalto University campus and is easy to commute from the center. Check some more information about the venue and how to get started from our Survival guide.
